This Privacy Policy explains how Denis Chaschin, an individual based in Australia ("we", "us", or "our"), processes information in connection with the Intelligent Assistant mobile application ("the App").
The App provides artificial intelligence functionality and optional tools that users may choose to use.
This Privacy Policy explains:
When you submit a request to the AI assistant, the App processes the message you enter.
Depending on the request, the App may also include relevant previous messages from the same conversation so that the AI service can understand the context and generate an appropriate response.
Messages and conversation context may contain personal information if you choose to include it. You should not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
The App may provide optional tools that allow you to add information to an AI request.
The types of information that you may choose to add include:
The App asks for your permission each time one of these categories of information is proposed for inclusion in an AI request.
The information is included only when you approve the particular request. Declining the request prevents that information from being added.
The App does not automatically provide OpenAI with continuous or unrestricted access to your reminders, location, contacts, photos, files, HealthKit data, or other device information.
The App may allow you to select and add information obtained through Apple HealthKit to an AI request.
HealthKit information is accessed only after you grant the relevant permission through Apple's system permission interface.
Before selected HealthKit information is included in an AI request, the App asks for your permission for that specific use.
HealthKit information is used only to provide the feature or response that you request. It is not used for:
We do not store HealthKit information on our backend servers.
HealthKit information selected and approved by you may be transmitted to OpenAI as part of an AI request. This occurs only after you approve including that information in the request.
You can manage the App's access to HealthKit through the Health or Settings applications on your Apple device.
The App uses the OpenAI API Platform, provided by OpenAI, L.L.C. and its affiliates ("OpenAI"), to process AI requests and generate responses.
OpenAI is a third-party artificial intelligence service provider.
When you use the AI functionality, the following information may be transmitted to OpenAI:
The App does not intentionally send advertising identifiers or analytics profiles to OpenAI.
Information submitted by you may contain personal or sensitive information. You control the content you enter and whether optional information is added to a request.
Information is sent to OpenAI for the following purposes:
Before the App sends information to OpenAI for the first time, the App presents a disclosure that:
The App does not send an AI request to OpenAI unless you provide permission.
In addition to this initial disclosure, the App separately asks for your permission each time optional information, such as a contact, location, reminder, photo, file, memory item, or HealthKit information, is proposed for inclusion in a request.
If you decline the initial OpenAI disclosure, functionality that requires OpenAI processing will not be available.
If you no longer agree to information being sent to OpenAI, you must stop submitting AI requests through the App. You may continue to deny individual requests to add optional information.
Deleting the App or discontinuing use prevents future requests from being transmitted. It does not reverse processing that occurred before you stopped using the AI functionality.
OpenAI is configured not to use content submitted through the App to train or improve its general-purpose artificial intelligence models.
This applies to the inputs sent to OpenAI and the outputs generated in response.
OpenAI may process and retain API information for limited periods where required for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operation of the OpenAI API Platform, subject to the applicable OpenAI terms, account configuration, and data-retention controls.
AI requests are transmitted from the App to our backend infrastructure hosted using services provided by Amazon Web Services, Inc. and its affiliates ("AWS").
The backend performs the following limited functions:
Our backend does not persistently store:
Request content is processed temporarily only for the time necessary to forward the request and return the response.
We configure our application logging so that AI request and response content is not intentionally recorded.
AWS may process limited technical and network information as necessary to host, secure, and operate the backend infrastructure. This may include:
Such information is processed for service delivery, security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and infrastructure reliability.
You may choose to store individual conversations and individual memory items locally on your device.
Locally stored information remains on the device unless:
For each conversation and each memory item, you can choose whether the information:
The App does not require all conversations or memory items to be synchronised. The choice is made separately for each applicable conversation or memory item.
When you enable iCloud synchronisation, Apple processes and stores the synchronised information according to your Apple account settings, iCloud configuration, and Apple's applicable privacy terms.
We do not control your personal iCloud account or Apple's independent processing of information stored in iCloud.
You can manually delete conversations and memory items through the App interface.
Deleting locally stored information removes it from the App's local storage, subject to normal operating-system behaviour and temporary system backups.
When information has been synchronised through iCloud, deletion may also be synchronised across devices connected to the same iCloud account. The timing and operation of iCloud synchronisation are controlled in part by Apple and your device settings.
Because our backend does not store conversations or memory items, we generally do not have a server-side copy of that information to delete.
The App uses RevenueCat, operated by RevenueCat, Inc., to manage subscriptions, entitlements, and in-app purchase status.
RevenueCat may process limited information necessary to provide subscription functionality, such as:
RevenueCat is used only for subscription and purchase-management purposes.
The App does not send the following information to RevenueCat:
RevenueCat information is not combined with conversation content for advertising, profiling, or behavioural analytics.
Apple may also process purchase and subscription information as part of App Store billing and transaction management.
The App uses Sentry, a service provided by Functional Software, Inc., doing business as Sentry, to identify crashes and diagnose technical errors.
Sentry may receive diagnostic information such as:
We use this information only to:
Sentry is not used for:
Information sent to Sentry is scrubbed to prevent personal or sensitive information from being included.
We configure Sentry not to intentionally receive:
Despite these safeguards, an unexpected technical error could potentially include incidental information in a diagnostic context. We use data-scrubbing measures to reduce this risk.
The mobile App does not use analytics SDKs to measure or profile user behaviour.
The mobile App does not use Yandex Metrica or any other Yandex SDK.
The App does not display third-party behavioural advertising.
We do not:
Sentry crash reporting and RevenueCat subscription management are operational services and are not used by us as behavioural analytics services.
OpenAI processes messages, approved conversation context, tool information, and other content that you explicitly approve in order to generate AI responses and provide related AI functionality.
AWS provides backend hosting and infrastructure used to relay AI requests and responses. Our backend does not persistently store request or response content.
Sentry processes scrubbed crash reports and technical diagnostics so that we can identify and repair errors.
RevenueCat processes subscription, entitlement, and purchase-related information. Conversation content and optional tool data are not sent to RevenueCat.
Apple processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, device permissions, HealthKit permissions, and optional iCloud synchronisation.
These service providers process information according to their respective contractual, privacy, security, and legal obligations.
We require service providers that process personal information on our behalf to provide protections that are the same as or equivalent to those described in this Privacy Policy, as applicable to the services they provide.
Our backend does not persistently retain user messages, AI responses, conversation context, tool data, or other request content.
Request information is processed temporarily only for the time necessary to transmit the request and return the response.
Conversations and memory items stored locally are retained until you delete them, delete the App or its data, or the operating system removes them.
Information synchronised through iCloud is retained according to your actions, Apple account settings, and Apple's applicable iCloud retention and deletion practices.
OpenAI may retain API information for limited periods according to the OpenAI API terms, security and abuse-monitoring requirements, account configuration, and applicable legal obligations.
Information submitted through the App is not used to train or improve OpenAI's general-purpose models.
Crash and diagnostic information is retained according to our Sentry configuration and Sentry's applicable retention terms.
Subscription and transaction information may be retained by RevenueCat, Apple, and us for as long as necessary to:
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information processed through the App.
These measures include:
No electronic transmission, processing system, or storage method is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can control your information by:
Disabling an operating-system permission prevents future access to the relevant category of device data, but it does not reverse processing that occurred while permission was active.
The App is operated from Australia.
Third-party service providers, including OpenAI, AWS, Sentry, RevenueCat, and Apple, may process information in Australia, the United States, or other countries where they or their service providers operate.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those in your location.
Where required, service providers use contractual, technical, and organisational safeguards for international processing and transfers.
The App is intended for a general audience.
Children should use the App only where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Users should not submit personal information about a child unless they are legally authorised to do so and the information is necessary for the request.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us using the details below.
Responses generated by the App may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unexpected, or biased.
AI-generated responses do not constitute professional medical, legal, financial, or other regulated professional advice.
Information produced by the App should be independently verified before it is used to make important decisions.
The ability to include HealthKit information in a request does not make the App a medical device or healthcare provider. Users should consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical conditions, symptoms, diagnoses, or treatment.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to:
When we update the policy, we will publish the revised version and change the "Last updated" date.
Where required by law or App Store requirements, we will provide additional notice or obtain new permission before materially changing how personal information is processed or shared.
